Student Admit Packet

The Student Admit Packet was reimagined as a flagship touchpoint—designed to create a meaningful first impression that reflects the pride, spirit, and opportunity of joining the University of Utah. This redesign focused on delivering a cohesive, elevated experience that seamlessly guides newly admitted students through their next steps while reinforcing a strong sense of belonging.

Housed in a custom folder and envelope, the packet brings together essential resources—including financial aid, housing, campus facilities, and key policies—within a unified and thoughtfully structured system. Every element was intentionally designed to work both visually and conceptually, resulting in a clear, engaging, and easy-to-navigate experience.

A sleek, modern aesthetic anchors the design, highlighted by a bold UV-printed cover, signature Utah Red accents, and strong, attention-grabbing typography. Inside, a custom ridgeline pocket—inspired by the Wasatch mountains—alongside consistent mountain-themed details, create a cohesive visual narrative. A dynamic image of the MUSS (Mighty Utah Student Section) further brings the experience to life, offering a glimpse into student culture and inviting future students to envision themselves on campus.

Celebratory elements, including a bright red acceptance certificate and a commemorative magnet, transform the packet into a keepsake—balancing information with emotion. The result is a polished and memorable welcome experience that not only informs but also inspires, reinforcing the excitement and significance of being admitted to the University of Utah.
